Tülay İçöz was born in 1974 in Istanbul. She studied at the Sculpture Department of Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts between 1993 and 1997. She has also completed a master programme in Sculpture at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. The artist has attended a number of group shows and art fairs including AKM, Tuyap Art Fair, Kargart, ODTU, Akmerkez and Bozlu Art Project. İçöz won the third prize at the Young Artists Sculpture Competition in 2006 and constantly attends symposia regarding her practice. The artist lives and works in Istanbul.
