Anna Laudel Istanbul is pleased to present “Where You Are Understood” on its first floor, a group show that invites the audience to contemplate transformation through the theme of blooming. The exhibition will be on view at Anna Laudel Istanbul until August 31, 2025.

Each work on display carries traces of the transformations experienced by people and objects across all areas of life, the presence of invisible potential, and the process of evolution unfolding over time. The works reflect the belief that true blossoming occurs when one taps into inner strength, is seen through a perceptive gaze, or finds peace and harmony. The image of the flower—synonymous with hope and aesthetics in daily life—is reconstructed through each artist’s unique materials and language of expression, united by the metaphor of blooming.

Featuring works by Ramazan Can, Ertuğrul Güngör & Faruk Ertekin, Bilal Hakan Karakaya, Ekin Su Koç, Ardan Özmenoğlu, Özlem Yenigül, and Hanefi Yeter, the exhibition presents a broad artistic spectrum spanning painting, sculpture, ceramics, and digital media.
