Anna Laudel Düsseldorf is proud to host Hanefi Yeter’s exhibition “Never was the world worldlier” from December 6, 2024, to February 8, 2025. Known for a career spanning over half a century and his works exhibited internationally, Yeter presents a collection of works inspired by Nietzsche’s reflections on the modern world. The exhibition delves into contemporary chaos, environmental concerns, and the existential struggles of the modern individual.
This exhibition marks the debut of many of Yeter’s recent creations, produced over the last two years. The collection features over twenty works, including ceramics and paintings, showcasing the artist’s unique perspective on the relationship between nature, society, and humanity.

The title, inspired by Nietzsche’s “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”, reflects the human effort to grapple with existence and emphasizes the alienation caused by modern life. “Never was the world worldlier” addresses the complexities of the modern era and the disruption of humanity’s connection to nature. Through his works, Yeter emphasizes that lack of communication and consumer culture are among the most critical issues of our time. The artist invites viewers to deeply reflect on the modern world and its challenges.

Hanefi Yeter continues to explore themes that inspire reflection and challenge perceptions of the world, offering new perspectives with every exhibition. The human figure and representations of nature remain central to his artistic exploration.

The exhibition takes place under the patronage of Ali Ihsan Izbul, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Düsseldorf. Hanefi Yeter’s “Never was the world worldlier” will be open to visitors at Anna Laudel Düsseldorf from December 6, 2024, to February 8, 2025.
