Anna Laudel Bodrum presents renowned artist Hanefi Yeter‘s comprehensive solo exhibition titled ‘HAL-BU-Kİ’ between August 23 and September 8 extended until September 22, 2024. Hanefi Yeter, whose half-century-long artistic journey draws inspiration from social and sociological observations, will showcase a selection of his paintings created over the past two years. The exhibition coincides with the launch of his two new books, which also offer a retrospective of his work.

Beyond creating visual appeal, Hanefi Yeter aims for viewers to experience a spiritual and intellectual connection through his selected works. His exhibition offers multiple perspectives, allowing the audience to gain a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between the human body and the psyche. Hanefi Yeter strives to raise awareness and sensitivity in his audience, considering his art a component of change.

Highlighting the challenges artists face in navigating the overwhelming flow of information and the race against time in the modern world, Hanefi Yeter emphasizes that his past experiences illuminate his path, while his essence, talent, and dedication form the foundation of his success.

Adopting the principle, “The future demands that we be brief and concise,” Hanefi Yeter underscores the importance of simplicity in the face of today’s information overload. His recent works from the past two years focus on the distinction between body and soul, or in other words, the essence. Hanefi Yeter revisits this theme through layers of color, form, and sometimes words, creating a harmony that is uniquely his own.

With his newly published books blending extensive writing and artworks with his current painting exhibition, Hanefi Yeter shares an autobiographical exploration of his artistic journey with the special visitors of Anna Laudel Bodrum. The book launch will take place on August 22, 2024, at 7:30 PM, while the exhibition can be visited between August 23 and September 8 extended until September 22, 2024, at Anna Laudel Bodrum within ZAI Yasam.
