Anna Laudel at Art Cologne 2025: Duo Exhibition with Turkish artist Özlem Yenigül and Italian artist Daniele Sigalot

At Art Cologne 2025, within the “Collaborations” sector, Anna Laudel presents a duo exhibition featuring Turkish artist Özlem Yenigül (b. 1991) and Italian artist Daniele Sigalot (b. 1976). Working across different media, both artists explore the fluidity of human experience, transforming playful elements into a deeply personal and at times paradoxical visual language.

At the heart of this dialogue is the question of belonging.
Yenigül’s works convey an intimate sense of home and a longing for connection, while Sigalot’s mirror panels evoke a simultaneous experience of omnipresence and placelessness. Through color, texture, and reflection, both artists create spaces of encounter, self-reflection, and shared experience. Observation thus becomes participation — the audience is not merely a spectator but an integral part of the work.
This duo exhibition invites visitors to experience belonging as both anchored and fluid, rediscovering themselves in the fragments of both artists’ creations.
The works will be on view from November 6 to 9, 2025,
Hall 11.2, Booth No. A-323.

Born in Rome in 1976, Daniele Sigalot began his career in advertising before dedicating himself fully to his artistic project Blue & Joy in 2007. After the duo Sigalot/La Fauci disbanded in 2014, he continued as a solo artist, focusing on mixed-media installations that explore the tension between materiality and perception. His work is both illusory and ironic. In 2022, he presented his solo exhibition Master of Mistakes at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome. Sigalot lives and works in Rome, where he established his studio “La Pizzeria” in 2023.

At Anna Laudel’s booth (A-323), visitors can experience Yenigül and Sigalot’s installations, which play with intimacy, reflection, and changing perspectives.
